Hi all,

AOS packet delivered on 12/18 to Chicago, IL. We didn’t request the e-notification, but with the K1 application, the check was deposited and NOA1 was received quickly. This hasn’t been the case this time around. I’m sure it doesn’t help having 2 holidays back to back, but would you say this is a typical processing timeline? Thank you!

Glad it isn't just us lol. Ours was delivered to Chicago Lockbox 12/22- I keep reminding myself that today makes only the 8th business day because of the holiday. Trying to be patient.. but wondering if checks take longer than CC. Nothing more fun than the immigration waiting game 🫠

I’ve done the same thing counting the business days! lol Comforting to know we’re in the same boat. Hoping for some news for both of us soon!

We just got the text from USCIS with our receipt number, the check wasn't showing up as cleared on our end yet but the case status does show the fee has been received- hopefully you get yours soon! 🤞

AOS package delivered 12/19 and still waiting for notice/check cashed.

Live in TX and sent it to the Dallas, TX lockbox with signature confirmation

https://www.uscis.gov/uscis-lockbox-filing-locations-chart-for-certain-family-based-forms

Out of status as of 1/4/23.  If it gets rejected can the i485 package be resubmitted or does something else need to be done given out of status.

We’re in the same situation… received by Chicago, IL lockbox on 12/18 and no word yet and no check deposit. Husband will be over the 90 days soon too. I would submit an inquiry just so it’s on file that you did indeed submit something. I plan to send an inquiry as we near 30 days since sending it.

My wife and I submitted our AOS package with I-130, I-131, I-485, I-693 (medical), I-765, I-867 about a week and a half ago.

  • 12/28     Mailed marriage-based AOS package to Dallas lockbox via USPS.
  • 12/29     USCIS received packagethe next day. (We're not too far from Dallas)

  • 1/8         Received I-797 physical receipt for the I-130 today. Letter came from the NBC in Missouri.

Check now appears to be cashed.

Well we finally called and the application was rejected due to some tedious details. I had apparently printed some pages in a different version. I also had chosen the wrong filing code for EAD (K1 instead of AOS), which had made the payment amount incorrect. This has all been resolved - we sent it out again yesterday with an estimated delivery date for Monday in Chicago. We’ll keep the timeline updated as soon as we know more!

Congratulations!

I got my EAD approval yesterday, too. No AP though, was looking for a combo card to be able to travel soon.

Thank you, congratulations to you too!🎊

I wonder what’s the criteria for combo card vs EAD, hopefully they’ll approve your AP soon🤞🏻
