  1. We waited 30 days as they suggested. I believe we called 8003755283. When the machine asks, how can I help you, say, “I want to know about my case.” Then, when the machine asks for a receipt number, say “I never received a receipt number.” Then, when it asks about a location, choose a service center.
  2. This also happened to us and it ended up being that they rejected the application due to some filing errors. I would call the customer service number - they were very helpful and gave us enough information to know what was going on. We refilled with no issues and my husband has his biometrics appointment today.
  3. The same thing happened to me recently and it was because I chose code (a)(6) instead of (c)(9) on I-765. Double check on this one on the instructions for filing!
  4. Received by Chicago Lockbox: 1/20 USCIS e-notification: 1/24 Check payment shown pending: 1/24 We’re finally in our way! 👏👏👏
  5. Well we finally called and the application was rejected due to some tedious details. I had apparently printed some pages in a different version. I also had chosen the wrong filing code for EAD (K1 instead of AOS), which had made the payment amount incorrect. This has all been resolved - we sent it out again yesterday with an estimated delivery date for Monday in Chicago. We’ll keep the timeline updated as soon as we know more!
  6. I’m in the same situation . Received by Chicago on 12/18 and no NOA or check cashed. I’m in a bit of a panic too, but I do think it’s within a typical processing window. We’ve had a bunch of vacation days that have likely caused a backup. My friend is an immigration lawyer and she agrees that a NOA is likely to come waiting a few more weeks. Please do keep us updated though and I will do the same!
  7. We’re in the same situation… received by Chicago, IL lockbox on 12/18 and no word yet and no check deposit. Husband will be over the 90 days soon too. I would submit an inquiry just so it’s on file that you did indeed submit something. I plan to send an inquiry as we near 30 days since sending it.
  8. Happy New Year to you too! Still waiting here … but a few people have mentioned a similar timeline to ours. Hoping for news soon!
  9. I’ve done the same thing counting the business days! lol Comforting to know we’re in the same boat. Hoping for some news for both of us soon!
  10. Thank you so much for this! It’s important to see that some applications are taking a bit longer to process. Which locations was your application sent to? Ours is Chicago, IL. Thank you again and I hope that you’re able to make it home for April!!
  11. Thanks, but I had directed my question to user with a similar processing time … outside the holiday season.
  12. Do you have an update on this? I am in the same situation. AOS was delivered to Chicago lockbox via USPS on 12/18. It’s 2 weeks later and still nothing - check hasn’t been deposited and no NOA. It appears that other applications are being processed much more quickly.
  13. Did this eventually go through? If so, I’m curious as to when? I’m having the same issue, having submitted everything and being received 12/18. No check has been deposited and no NOA. It seems everyone else’s application is being processed more quickly.
  14. Thank you! I see we’re both in CT so I’m definitely following you for updates!
  15. Hi all, AOS packet delivered on 12/18 to Chicago, IL. We didn’t request the e-notification, but with the K1 application, the check was deposited and NOA1 was received quickly. This hasn’t been the case this time around. I’m sure it doesn’t help having 2 holidays back to back, but would you say this is a typical processing timeline? Thank you!
  16. We are getting ready to apply for AOS after K1 visa. I’m definitely confused about whether the I-693 should also be submitted, despite being listed as optional and references of not being necessary if you’ve had the exam within the last year overseas. What is your recommendation? Wait and see if they ask for RFE?
  17. It takes about 60 days to transfer from USCIS to NVC. Then it takes an additional 30 days to be shipped and received by the embassy. This was the case for me anyways. Good luck!
  18. And just now I received the formal email that it is being shipped from the NVC to the Embassy! 👏 👏 👏
  19. Just an update - I received NVC case number via inquiry yesterday (7/17). Our NOA2 is 4/24. We already submitted the DS-160 form - it was detailed and a bit tedious, but we got through it! Hang in there … we’re moving forward slowly, but surely!
  20. Thank you! I sent an email on Tuesday and received the response this morning. I’d expect you to hear today or tomorrow!
  21. NOA 2: April 21st and today I received confirmation from a NVC Research inquiry that the petition was recently received from USCIS! It seems the estimates are accurate (60ish days).
  22. Hi all, I finally received NO2 and I am waiting for the NVC case number and confirmation of mailing to the consulate. My question is how does the consulate know how to contact my fiancé for Package 3? I don’t remember ever providing his email address on the I-129F. Is it provided through registering with CEAC or filing out the DS-160? Thank you in advance!
  23. Yes, notification appeared on my home screen from the Lawfully app.
  24. It’ll happen for you! And thank you for posting all the updates. It was reassuring to see the numbers each day 🙏
