Well the 11th is reserved for me and James.LOL.

No actually when I talked to my psychic on Dec 11th she said we'd be approved in two months,so that would be the 11th!

And yes I do call a psychic every now and then :yes: and so far she has been COMPLETLEY right with everything she said......So I wonder if she's right this time too........... :blush:

I think I saw a Oct-Nov filer approved ( sent in Oct Noa1 in Nov) that means things are getting closer and looks like they are moving faster

11/30/2007 = Rec'd NOA1 hard copy in the mail

12/20/2007 = Touched

03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

03/24/2008 = NOA2!!!!!!!!!

September 26, 2007 - Official date of receipt on NOA1

September 29, 2007 - Received NOA1 via snail mail

October 2, 2007 - Touched

February 20, 2008 - Touched/Approval date on NOA2

February 21, 2008 - Touched

February 26, 2008 - NOA2 via snail mail - Approved!

February 28, 2008 - NVC received file/NVC sent file to Ankara

March 4, 2008 - DHL delivered to embassy

March 21, 2008 - Packet 3 received

March 31, 2008 - Packet 3 sent to embassy

April 4, 2008 - Packet 4 received

May 28, 2008 - Medical appointment

June 3, 2008 - Scheduled interview date was 23rd. Asked for a closer date and was given the 3rd instead.

June 3, 2008 - Interview was successful and K1 is approved!

June 9, 2008 - Visa in hand.

August 2, 2008 - Our wedding party

August 12, 2008 - POE Miami

August 20, 2008 - Legal US wedding

December 8, 2008 - Sent AOS packet to USCIS

May 4, 2009 - Interview day - Approved!

June 23, 2009 - Green card received.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Ahhh - my work is done :D

Mox & Aly -- two phlegmatic individuals.

Meanwhile, I'm beyond bananas because DHL reuses airbill numbers, and mine to the (?) ex was the same as one sent to China in December, and DHL can't find mine but assures me that it arrived in China in December. Silence from the (?) ex, which means that she is busy, or the DHL didn't arrive, or her "bye" meant just that. DHL seems to consider me an imposition because I'm inquiring about my shipment. And DHL is worlds better than FedEx.

Mox, if your illness doesn't pay off with good luck for you, send it my way, please (with the extra teaspoon from Aly). But I've needed a stomach-transplant all week without your help, so forget it, si man.

Has anyone noticed the timeline of the guy who started this thread 277 pages ago, bszoom? He got his NOA2 in 61 days, with U.S. entry & marriage all occurring within the 4 months that's on the short end of when we're not even supposed to begin complaining. Sigh, man.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Haha - yeah - the reason I am not a June filer is because the evidence I originally sent to Jeremy got returned to me stamped with "undeliverable as addressed"... Now bear in mind we have known each other over six years now and have been writing to each other for almost as long... his address was the same as I always wrote it...

Now I love my July buddies with all my heart (minus a little piece I save for Jeremy) but it is sometimes hard to think that if the evidence had arrived in good time, my wedding in Feb would be the real thing and I would be moving right about now :(

Of course I believe that everything happens for a reason. I think the delays and extra time apart has given us time to grow. Being a July filer has made me some wonderful friends. Moving in June will allow us to save more money and not have to face a big(ish) wedding *and* a move all at once. We can afford a nice honeymoon... I can watch my last season of The Apprentice with my mum (a Wednesday night red wine ritual :D) which runs from March to June (perfect timing!)... Small things but silver linings nonetheless...

TBone - I hope this is the case for you as well. Maybe if she got it all too soon she would have freaked... Maybe it will turn up a little later but that extra time will allow her more time to think and let things sink in... Who knows? I just think that if things are meant to be then they will work out, sometimes in ways you least expect. Jeremy and I have certainly had a rocky road ;) (and no, not the ice cream :D) and I *never* thought I would be in the position I am now :) But it's been a pleasant, if emotionally draining, surprise :)

Oh - love the certificate as well moxie - glad it can be reduced down and still read :D
