Opinions please....I called for my monthly call to the csc and the guy told me that we should hear something in 2-3 weeks....Ive not been given a time frame before...we are in background checks or so they say. Im trying not to get excited....who thinks that he actually saw something on my file? Im grasping at straws here!

2-3 weeks in USCIS time usually amounts to 2-3 months  I called them today and last week their story was it was with an officer. Today it is still pending. He didn't know what to say when he gave their usual "we are working on cases from April" and I told him I knew for a fact they were working on May and June.

I was kinda hoping to see some approvals here today...

Mondays are a tough day to see, early in the day, approvals....due to the start of a new work week; IMO.

If an approval comes on a Monday it would most likely be late in the day, or with the start of a new weekly cycle of approvals, on Tuesday morning ???

I noticed that my two previous NOA-1 notices (I-130 and I-129F) were both early morning time-tags.

I still have not had a single touch, since late June and early July. My WAC# is 07174....

A May filer was approved, from TSC which I assume was transferred to CSC. Slow day...

Who got approved? I see an updated timeline today from an original TSC filer, but their approval was for the 25th. Am I looking in the wrong place?

That's him, he reported his approval today. Most people who report their approvals actually have it approved a day or few prior as it takes time for the mail to arrive. Just like how we won't know about 10/29 approvals until later this week. I think that makes 18 for last week at CSC.

Visa took too long, grew apart and withdrew visa after six months.

I found out about my NOA2 from the USCIS website. I did not get my hardcopy until the end of the week.

There does not seem to be any standard way of notifying people about their approval.

Good luck all May filers.

:luv: Hey all...well I made a call to CSC this evening after work and talked to a CS rep who told me she couldnt tell me anymore than what was posted on the website that I should call back in an hour and get another CS rep on the line and ask for an immigration officer who could do a case inquiry for us (she tried to transfer me but said they weren't responding to her ring). This was at 5:30 CST and 40 minutes later at 6:10 pm I called to get a recording that the normal hours were from 8 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri  . Am I daft or was she just trying to get rid of me??? Isn't California on Pacific time...am I not an hour ahead of them??? I'm confused and frustrated again. Well the call did end up in a touch, which is the first one I've gotten since they received our petition. I will try to call again in the morning. Maybe that is a bit of information we can all try when we make our next phone calls...an immigration officer she said can look closer at our petitions and tell us if they have been assigned to a case worker and what the current status is on it as far as an adjudication date. Please let it be soon...Insha'allah! I pray for all of us that we get approved soon.

Hugs everyone!

Asiya
