I filed I-130 for my mum (she has been in the States for 4mths legally on a B2 tourist visa).
I tried filing I-485 after i filed the I-130 but it is asking for an A-number?
Do I wait until I receive this number before I file the I-485? How long does it take to get it after filing I-130.

thanks

Yes, the only number on there is the receipt number starting with IOE

so i'll have to wait for that before i file i-485?

If you do not know your A number, enter “unknown” into I-485.

USCIS knows your A number
