Work Permit timeframe

Hey everyone, just wanted to see what you all thought the wait time is for a work permit? My wife and I got married back in June on her K-1 visa, we already submitted for her work permit at the end of July.  We received notification that the USCIS received her I-765 form for review, but that was two months ago. Her friend who went through the same process received her work permit in just a month! Just wanted to see what people thought the general timeframe was to get a work permit from the day the I-765 form submission was accepted by the USCIS. Thanks for any input!

It seems to be all over the place from what I’ve seen on VJ. I’ve seen people have EAD approved in a few days to some waiting for over a year.

Im on the same timeline as you, had biometrics in August i think but thats it. Just sitting in limbo once again.
