A happy good morning to everyone. Checked my e-mail this morning and found the most beautiful e-mail I have eever seen.

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 30, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days

for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact

you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can

also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the

link below to register.

June 20th 2007 : Biometrics

July 30th 2007 : EAD card production ordered. day 68

August 2nd 2007: EAD card production ordered *again* day 71

August 8th 2007 : Approval notice mailed day 77

August 11th 2007: EAD card received in the mail (unable to use it to apply for SSN as the next day my AOS was approved and now EAD invalid)

Thanks everyone....I finally feel like I am a real person in the US now. I can get a SSN and a driver's license.

I finally have an identity. :D

Actually, I don't think my EAD was transferred to CSC, only my AOS. At least I never receieved any notices that it was, so I am assuming that it never left the National Benefis Center.

Congratulations! Just wondering, do they email all applicants who are approved? where do u check your status and how?

I want to know the status of both my EAD and AOS application.... I applied end of May.
