Does anyone know how long it takes for AOS after a transfer to CSC?

Like everything else, I don't think there are 'averages' on this sort of thing. But its encouraging to see a pre fee increase filer get transferred! Hopefully you'll get approved without interview.

Please update our info:

Our checks were cashed on Sept. 5th

We recieved our NOA1s for AOS, EAD, and AP on Sept. 10th

We recieved biometrics apt NOA on Sept. 11th

Biometrics apt set for Sept 28th

On the NOAs, our Received Date was July 31st, but the Notice date was Sept. 5th. Guess that makes me a Sept. filer.

Hi everyone...

So I had my second bio. appointment today and it was pretty good. I had to be in Syracuse, NY at 12 but I left very early cause I was worried I couldn't find it again. So I arrieved there at 9 a.m.. I walked into the office and asked if I have to come back at 12 or if they got time... She said, I can stay, and I had my fingerprints taken again.

I also had an infopass appointment because I filed for EAD and AOS with my maiden name and I wanted to change it. The officer told me to write a letter to the DHS and explain them the situation and attach a copy of my marriage certificate. He told me to send it to Chicago lok box, but I'm worried that it's gonna take forever untill they even open the letter. I had an RFE that I didn't send off yet and I was thinking I could send the letter with the request of namechange with the RFE. But that goes to MSC... Any advise from someone...?!?

Oh, I also asked about my case status, the officer told me that everything looks good so far, but I should count with an interview date in about 5-6 month!!!!!!!! :blink:

About my EAD the officer said it shoud get approved in the next 3 to 4 weeks... so at least that's some good news ;)

My biometrics appointment was also in Syracuse NY. It was yesterday Sep 10th. I thought it went smoothly, in and out in 10 mins. I was 15 mins late. Luckily they didn't mind that. A simple procedure I thought. And you ccould get your picture taken as many times as you want, the second one looked ok for me though. Mine was for EAD and AOS, got them both at the same time which was good.
