Hi darolina, thanks for adding yourself :)

As for your NOA1's, you may or may not know that the online date is kind of wrong. Mine said 8th of August and I received NOA1s on the 31st of August. Just thought I'd set your mind at ease just incase you're worrying about where your NOA1 is :)

Now...to fulfill the requirements of the rate increase..... didn't the paperwork **just** have to be postmarked no later than July 28th ?? and not when it was "received" by USCIS ???

hey...here is me forgetting to update you all that I finally did receive my letter on Friday for my biometrics. So at least me and my girls will have the same appointment on Sept 11.... YEAH. I was so worried that mine would be on another day and I would have to make the long trek to Fargo again.

Hope you all had a great long weekend!!!

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

I hope it is the postmark that is relevant before the fee increase. I sent mine 26th July and it was not received until the 31st July. I would be so upset if this was not the case as like many others I understood it to be the date of the post mark.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOA1 received today for both I-130 and I-485!! I can't believe it. Our check hasn't even been cashed yet! What a huge sigh of relief that they've at least received it and accepted it. After hearing what a couple of people have went through, I was scared they might return it asking for the new fee.

Notice date of August 31st.

Not able to track it online yet.

My NOA1 date was 8-24, but they rejected it because we supposedly sent them the wrong fee, even though the receipt date on the notice is 7/28/07. We are not happy!

September 2004 - Ede comes to the US as a foreign exchange student

05-17-2005 - Our first date

06-28-2005 - Ede goes back to Hungary

12-28-2005 - Ede comes back to the US! (F-1)

12-10-2006 - We're Engaged!! :D

EAD

04-20-2007 - Ede applies for EAD

06-29-2007 - RFE for EAD (Grr...)

08-10-2007 - Work Permit Received! Finally done! :)

AOS

06-28-2007 - Civil marriage

06-29-2007 - Appt. #1 for med. exam (blood draw & TB skin test)

07-01-2007 - TB skin test was POSITIVE due to the BCG vaccine...grr...Chest x-ray done

07-06-2007 - Went back to civ. surg. w/ TB clearance...not good enough. Can't have the physical yet.

07-13-2007 - Chest x-ray being checked out by TB doc...still no exam.

07-13-2007 - AOS packet ready to mail...except for I-693.

09-05-2007 - Sent back entire package with new cover letter explaining improper rejection

09-23-2007 - AOS package rejected again! E-mailed Congressman

10-05-2007 - Went to Congressman's office - left packet there so be re-sent

10-19-2007 - NOA1 Received -FINALLY! Not rejected! :D

11-02-2007 - Biometrics appointment at Waukegan Office

02-05-2008 - Interview in Chicago -approved! :D

I'm so sorry to hear that Sarah08, I read your other thread and I feel for you :( Hopefully they can get it resolved soon cos it is clearly THEIR mistake, not yours. Grrr I wish there wasn't so many mistakes made.

Eli v Mauri - Try not to worry, I know it's hard but keep in mind that lots of people are in a similar situation. Sit tight and your NOA1's and your appointment letters will come.

Congrats CB82 for your NOA1's coming! Yay!

Kelly and Jerricho, yes you're right, it is the postmark that is the important date, so long as it is before the cut of date the old fees apply.

Congrats vnoe on getting your bio appointment!

06/28/11 - NOA Priority Date

08/10/11 - Biometrics (Early FP 07/21/11)

08/01/11 - In Line for Interview Scheduling

08/11/11 - Got Email the interview is scheduled

08/15/11 - Received interview letter for September 19th

08/15/11 - Received interview cancellation letter

10/14/11 - Received new interview letter

11/17/11 - N400 interview - PASSED!!!

11/29/11 - In Line for Oath Ceremony Scheduling

12/30/11 - Got email that oath ceremony is scheduled

01/27/12 - Oath Ceremony - US Citizen!!!!

04/30/10 - Mailed I-751 ROC

05/11/10 - Received NOA (dated 05/03/10)

06/11/10 - Biometrics

07/13/10 - Card Production Ordered

07/22/10 - 10 year Green Card Received in the mail

07/27/07 - I-130 & I-485 Sent to Chicago Lock Box

09/04/07 - Received NOA1 for both I-130 & I-485 (Notice Date of 31st August)

11/09/07 - Biometrics

04/17/08 - Interview

04/21/08 - Received I-130 Approval Notice

05/09/08 - I-485 Approved (Email - Welcome Notice mailed)

05/20/08 - PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD ARRIVED IN THE MAIL
