Will my wife be able ti find a job in her field of study?

Hello, so im a USC married to my wife from Mexico, we are currently waiting interview date for GC. My wife has a bachelors degree in industrial engineering and has two years of experience as of now. How hard would it be for her to find a job in her studied field? We fully know that she will probably need to find an entry level job or work in something different when she comes to the US because we know it will difficult or maybe not possible, but wanted to get different opinions and experiences.

i guess it's the same with finding job in her home country. apply and hopefully got interview and get hired. 

 

where i live right now, everybody seems working in medical : CNA.  nurse, doctor etc because our state is the most highest median age in the US ( a lot of old people). it's very difficult for me to find the job that suits my past experience ( white collar job) due to the fact the job here mostly blue collar job. i think where you reside & whatever job market available also probably give u a challenge as well.

 

you wont know until she come to the US and try herself. entry level job etc, it really depend on how flexible she wants to

She will most likely need her degree evaluated. Here's one that is often recommended on here to do the evaluation. https://applications.wes.org/degree-equivalency-tool/ Might want to get a jump on it so when the time comes she can easily pass it on at the interview.

The second link can yield some good contacts for her.  She can look for Mexican/other Hispanic authors and write to them for advice.  The titles of journal papers can direct her toward people in her specialty, whether computing, packaging, or other.

 

Her two years of experience should be even more valuable than her degree, at this stage.

For industrial engineering a bachelor's degree won't be enough.

She must have all sort certifications, depending on the area she wants to focus on: quality control, CAD-CAM software, etc.
