The more salient issue is when the wrappers on store-brand cheese will be made easier to open.

 

It has always mystified me why anyone would buy Kraft or other name-brand cheese unless there's a coupon to bring the price down to store-brand level.

Odd thing. In my old age I have started buying store brands. Using anything other than Heinz ketchup use to be blasphemy.  Now I use the Kroger brand and it's way cheaper than heinz. Also the wife gets 20% discount on kroger brands.

 

Now still got to have my diet coke. No generic soda for me.. no sir

The same fad as mopeds from the late '70's, early '80's.  It is interesting to see the transportation fads over the years.  A great place to witness it is on a large university campus.  Back when I was in school, it was Honda Sprees, then skateboards and roller blades, not really sure what it is now, but the one thing that doesn't go away is walking, or manually riding a bike.
