This week in a nutshell:

Hey Dad your legs are really swollen. Have you been gaining weight?

Yeah.

How much?

I don't know maybe 20lbs. It's really weird. My legs really hurt. Okay well keep elevating them and wearing compression. Let's go to your doctor.

Doctor tells me he's worried, runs tests, but then goes on vacation.

Hey Dad, what's that bruise on your leg from? It's huge!

No idea. It kind of hurts.

I go to run errands and return several hours later to check him. The bruise is now black, swollen, hot, and encompassing his calf and ankle. He's pretending it doesn't hurt until my Mom intentionally pokes it, proving it does indeed hurt, really bad. Get into an argument about how he needs to go to the hospital and though it was 9pm at night we're willing to get him to the hospital of his choice. Once again I tell him he's going. He is mad at me.

ER is filled but not too bad. Despite this, wait for 8 hours to be seen. ER finally realize this could be serious as it's now spreading down the foot. His EKG is a mess again. His labs are a mess and show he's lost a lot of blood from somewhere. Scans show no DVT though... the blood thinner is doing it's job a little too well. So the serious amount of edema has caused pressure on the veins until they burst and more stress on his heart. Surgeon came in last night to drug him up and do emergency surgery on the hematoma. Dad is still clueless how lucky he is again and again. Frustrating...

Thrilling Sunday-on-Monday report, see man:

Did not leave the casa all day, ensconced we man.

Ecu handyman showed up early, better than stupid maid but :ranting: man.

Interfered with our phone caucus with Uncle T-B.'s home-health nooser, :ranting: man.

She's trying to limp him through until his wound-care appointment on June Many'th (2+2th), egad man.

Might be reacting to the antibiotic prescribed to ward off further infection, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

He will not do one solitary thing on his own behalf and is constantly aysheep, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

Ecu handyman did Many (2+2) simple things, ought to be all after Many (2+1) weeks in a row man.

He charged $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2 -2-2), steep but an overall bargain for the Many (2+1) weeks man.

We and Mini-B. are quite happy with all results, good Ecu man.

Breakfast/lunch for us was 2 hard-boiled eggs, ingest we man.

Breakfast/lunch for Mini-B. was onecan of non-Chef B. S+Ms, ingest wee man.

At noon, we siesta'd, intense day already man.

Decided to purge our closet of suits, purge we man.

We pulled out all nearly Manyzen ([one Manyzen] - 2) suits, rather dusty man.

We spent 2 hours (si, man!) de-dusting and on-trying them, evaluate we man.

We have decided to donate Many (2x2x2x2 -2), some easy some borderline man.

The criteria were fit, color, brand, and style, rank-order we man.

We under-grew most, shrink vertically and horizontally we man.

We kept Many (2+1) blue, Many (2+1) gray, 2 black, and 1 brown, still way too many man.

These are Bill Blass, Ralph Lauren, Jones New York, Chaps, and Nino Cerruti, all good stuff man.

One gray one was hand-made for someone in Thailand, snared from an ES by we man man.

Only the brown Ralph Lauren had been store-bought by us, financially savvy at ESs we man.

Our favorite small thrift store will be thrilled to see what they're getting, conclude hopeful we man.

Next will be to purge our ties and dress-shirts, unbelievable number of each man.

Last we estimated, we had approx. (2 x Many00) -- si man, (2 x Many00) -- shirts, wow man.

Din-din was sliced Costco luncheon ham + Costco scalloped potatoes, ingest Two Guys man.

Movie night was Ted2, equally raunchy and good as the first Ted, watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+2+1) Costco popcorns were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

This achieves our weekly quota, normalcy has returned to Two Guys land man.

Warshered/baked/folded our LL, victorious we man.

Warshered/baking our bed blanket, dusty and miu-haired man.

Dished the warsher, must de-dish during wee hours man.

Will do Mini-B.'s LL probably Wednesday, end of cattywampus Two Guys week man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

No firm plans for Monday, reflect on Memorial Day we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.

Spoke with the doctors today. Said he was very lucky he didn't lose his leg. Two clots and a cup of blood contents out of the leg. He looks like he's been stabbed through the leg with a butcher's knife. I can't imagine how long this will take to heal. They are talking about kicking him back out of the hospital again... (ugh) but he's still not lost the edema. Don't know what to do anymore. I'm pretty confident this is heart failure, but no one wants to discuss it. They have him off the blood thinner for now, but I know once he goes back on it, it's going to happen again.

Thrilling (?) Monday report, see man:

Awoke far pre-alarm, sigh man.

Tried caffeinating ourself, no effects man.

Breakfasted on 2 hard-boiled eggs and went back to bed, :ranting: man.

Got pre-noon call from Uncle T-B., semi-aysheep senior he man.

Wanted to know what home-health nooser had told us on Sunday, concerned senior he man.

We played nonchalant with it, no chalance by us man.

Then, we re-looked at fotos sent by nooser of Uncle T-B.'s legs, raw meat man.

We caucused with Mama T-B., caucus we man.

We lunched on 2 Costco chicken-salad sandwiches, ingest we man.

Mini-B. lunched on nuked rice + onecan tuna, ingest wee man.

We called Uncle T-B. and told him that we were going to the hospital, decide we man.

Uncle T-B. tried begging off, no way man.

Retrieved him at half-past 1 p.m. in raging monsoon, intrepid we man.

Hospital E.R. not busy at allmirabile dictu et visu man.

Got him right in with full staff attention, wondrous to say and see man.

Outstanding care, si man.

Drew Many labs to see if a specific infection, down-narrow the problem man.

Nothing specific, so they started him on intravenous vancomycin, broad-spectrum antibiotic man.

They have admitted him inpatient for at least overnight, antibiotic infusions and observation man.

Took ultrasonographic images of legs, look for clots man.

They mentioned possible congestive heart failure, chronic lymphedema man.

We should probably be there Many/Many for him, help him hear and we learn from doctors man.

We did write whiteboard notes DEAF -- do not wear MASKS when talking!!!, like that'll do anything man.

We wrote Consult with NEPHEW about EVERY issue!!!, like that'll do anything man.

Uncle T-B. is scared but also grateful, hope he'll be OK man.

He's our last surviving uncle, sigh man.

Returned to casa just before Many (2+2+2+1) p.m., long marathon man.

Mini-B. had supervised himself maturely, bored-but-behaved wee man man.

Din-din was air-fried Costco chicken tacos and r'br, ingest Two Guys man.

Got Mini-B. embedded almost on time, minor miracle man.

Will probably be jolted awake by thunderous monsoons, wee hours man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Kid2 was grossed out by the accidental purchase of Dr. Pepper Zero.  Yeah, hard pass he says.  Don't blame him.  I can't stand Coke Zero myself, so I pretty much attribute all of the "Zero" beverages to be a hard pass.

There is no period after the Dr in Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper Zero, si and see and :bonk: mam ma'am!

But we agree with Kid2, agree we man with junior he man man.

Coke Zero is often the only such available from fast food, sigh but tolerate we man.

We actually prefer Diet Pepsi, hard to find in fountain drinks except in Costco man.

The diet cherry cola from Kroger isn't bad, conclude we man.

Their diet cola is vile, yuck but must finish our supply we man.

---

We always ask for iceless fountain drinks, here's why man.

1.   When the ice melts, it waters down the drink, yuck man.

2.  Iceless= more drink in cup, financially $avvy we man.

Many.  Drinks are already cold enough from the chilled dispenser, reason we man.

Thrilling Tuesday-on-Wednesday report, see man:

Lunch was Many tablespoonfuls of Costco chicken salad straight from the tub, ingest we man.

Attempted siesta hosed by Many phone calls regarding Uncle T-B., updates and bureaucracy man.

Went to visit Uncle T-B. in midafternoon, visit we man senior he man man.

Seems to be getting decent care, really good nooser in particular man.

Got out a bit too late to de-skool Mini-B., slightly peeved wee man man.

Din-din was burnt pork ends and loaded potato skins, ingest Two Guys man.

Movie night was Many (2+1) episodes of Breaking Bad, actually quite good man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

This tallies to Many (2x2x2x2 -2) bowls for the week, quota achieved and padded man.

Last night of Two Guys week, ex-Mrs.-T-B. will de-skool Mini-B. on Wednesday man.

We get him back Sunday, resume normal schedule man.

Mini-B. seemingly very well-pleased with everything, as are we man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Nothing formal itineraried for Wednesday, informal we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Tuesday, report we man.
