The most embarassing job I ever had as an adult (18+) was working at Knott's Berry Farm, an amusement park here in So Cal. I had to work the crosswalk. Wearing an orange and blue plaid cowboy shirt, with a straw cowboy hat. Hey, I was working my ####### thru college ;)

How about you folks!! Weigh in on your embarassing jobs.

I had a stint working the graveyard shift at a 7-Eleven. Strange, scary people seem to come out at night and frequent convenient stores.

One guy came in at 3am asking to look at the sealed magazines that were on a rack behind the counter. I told him they were sealed. Then he asked if he could just go behind the counter (where I was) and look at them. I felt a rush of adrenaline and lifted the entire rack full of magazines (weighed about 100lbs), plopped it onto the counter and told him to, "...have at it." Apparantly he didn't have the $5 or so to actually buy any of them.

Back in 1979 I worked in maintenance at an apartment complex, and some guy in unit 1 decided to take a 12 gauge to his head. I cleaned the mess off the walls and floor for $ 17.50. Man , that guy had a lot of brains, sheesh !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I needed the money. It was sick, but hey, in desperate times people do desperate things.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

I was a back-scrubber at a YWCA.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
