Ankara VS Abu Dhabi VS Armenia K1 Processing Times

Hello! My fiancee is from Iran and I was wondering if there are any US Embassies that are faster at processing K1's that others? I've stated a few of the embassies that Iranians can go to in the title but are there any others that you guys recommend? Thanks so much!

You generally can’t “consulate shop” for a fastest one as you have to have a basis to interview in that country (residency/citizenship) or it’s been assigned by the department of state (like the case for Iranians or Russians as an example).

So even though she has to travel to a US Embassy outside of Iran because of obvious reasons, she will be assigned to one? On the I-129F form you specifically note which embassy and location you want to go to. Like where it says "Consular Processing Information".

She will be automatically assigned one. USCIS or NVC do not look at that field at all, I don’t understand why they have it there. And I’m speaking from experience too, they sent it to one based on my current residency at the time even though I requested one in my home country in that field. This is a practice they have been doing for years and continue to do.

You have to think about which country will give a visitors visa in order to attend the interview.
