DeSantis appointee to new Disney oversight board suggested tap water could turn people gay

I normally vote Republican and right now Desantis is my favorite. However when are Republicans going to learn? I agree with Desantis about keeping that fluid gender absurdity out of School.  However this kind of medieval nonsense needs to stop.

 

I fully believe that most gay people are born gay. This guy he appointed suggesting that you could catch gay from drinking water is dumb.

Hiring only the best people for the job down there I see. This individual is a pastor, and well, he's said quite a lot of things hasn't he? Whatever helps people get elected these days I guess..

Yes, I have heard of that.  Right now there seems to be more of a problem with flesh eating bacteria in the Gulf following hurricane Ian.

The mayor of College Park? We have tons of crazies in elected positions in this state and some that aren't... like this guy  

Since NB made this thread about a weirdo dude appointed to a position in Florida though, I think we're supposed to stay on that topic. I mean what else is there to exactly think? Looks like the police are handling it. It would be great if people would stop electing idiots, and it's perhaps even worse when they are just simply appointed.

So what is your definition of an idiot?  People have their religion which in this country is allowed.  Personally I think it is more important that we do not elect groomers.  Regardless, the issues this guy in FL talks about is not all that outlandish.  There is a lot of stuff in our water that the wastewater processes do not remove (this is from personal experience as a wastewater treatment plant engineer from a few years back), and in this time of distrust of the government, I am not sure I believe what any agency is telling us.
