Covid Vaccination Waiver?

My wife and stepchildren have their interviews fast approaching, but they never received a covid vaccination. We thought they would be able to receive a covid vaccine at their medical exam but the two approved physicians don't provide this particular vaccine nor does anywhere else we have tried (that previously did). Will the embassy give them a blanket waiver? (Vaccine not being routinely available/shortage being one of the reasons) Has anyone received such a waiver?

No. They will have to get their shots from the local doctor and have them fax proof of shots and take proof of shots with them to medical appointment. Otherwise it will delay visas being issued.

Have the doctor fax the information to the medical exam facility there is no vaccine available. They will take that from you.

I wrote the embassy through the traveldocs website and this is the response:

"Be informed that the applicants need to be vaccinated in order to obtain the immigrant visa. The Embassy can only move forward with the case when they receive the document and the applicants are vaccinated"
