Y'all seem like a genuinely friendly place, though.

i'll double that! :lol::lol::thumbs:

awww charles, you softie!

When you live in a region where "f-ck immigrants, deport them all and close the borders" is common discourse, even a less-than-cordial internet forum can seem "friendly."

We have that, too!

 True that!

Just because someone is a lawyer or a law student doesn't mean they know jackshit about immigration. God knows I love my real-life, personal friends who I helped through the LSAT, but God also knows I know more about immigration law than they do.

And personally, I wouldn't trust my future happiness because someone with a made-up handle said [randomhandle] is reliable.

Here's how I would rank VJ's usefulness:

1) For basic questions, like "Did I read this question on the form right?" or "Where do I get the I-485?", your best bet is to ask or browse former posts and get a sense of the CONSENSUS.

2) For harder questions, do your own research and read the forum.

3) Yodrak is extradordinarily reliable BUT is like a djinn in that he answers exactly the question you ask. If you don't phrase your question properly, you might get a misleading response.

LOTS of informed people here but at the same time no one is correct 100% all of the time.

USCIS policies can change often without much notice.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yodrak's responses make you think. He doesn't spoon feed, that's much more valuable than the people who try to 'guess' what you want and spoon feed info.

Anyone remember Andy? He was another one.

Yes, photos and video available on demand.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
