How come you don't have the 48-month extention letter yet? I think a majority of people may have already got it; I received mine a couple of months ago.

I was hoping to be done with N-400 in four-five months like most people, but it just sucks how annoyingly inefficient the system has become in the last couple of years (my conditional green card was approved barely in around four months.)

Me too, filed I-751 in November 2021 and my N-400 since February 2023 and N-400 being actively reviewed since March 8.

No idea, they somehow missed me. Maybe because my I-751 was transferred to NBC in the beginning of March (presumably when they were sending those out). I called multiple times and phone support confirmed that 48-month extension was never mailed to me. I also sent electronic requests for a missing form but they were ignored. Because it's still relatively new, there're no clear processes on obtaining one. Phone support can't help with it so they requested a stamp instead.

I looks like those who applied under 5 years rules get their interview faster than 3 years rules.

My application is actually based on the 3 year rule and I just got my interview scheduled for July in SF office. Wonder if the fact that I waited to apply for N400 after I got my conditions removed helped??

I know this has probably been answered, but I’m getting nervous (interview is Tuesday). How long does the actual interview usually take?

Probably. At this point, I give up trying to make any sense of it  I know someone who's been waiting since October 2022 (also at SF office), and their I-751 was approved shortly after filing N-400. I can imagine a lack of motivation to process cases that have I-751 pending and scheduling them for later because of it. But it doesn't make me feel any better.

N-400 interviews are generally short - 15 minutes. The overwhelming consensus here is that N-400 is the easiest part of the immigration journey.
