As much as I wanna be with my partner ASAP we were banking on at least a yr before NOA2 for admin life reasons aaaahhhh.

From what I can piece together, you shouldn't have any trouble stretching out the process if you need to -- the 1-129f is valid for 4 months once approved, and the K-1 is valid up to 6 months (sounds like it's generally 6 months since the medical).

Yh bf and I will discuss on trip in march when hopefully we have a better idea of timeline. I doubt I'll be able to resist moving there as soon as viable though 😂

I'm curious how they count the processed cases? is it just approval + denial?

It is number of touched cases (including RFEs).

Hi! I haven't seen Saturday RFE numbers but I didnt want to delay this any further. RFEs don't reduce the backlog or improve the times anyway, so I'm not too worried about them. The numbers are still much better than before, but the approvals and denials only total to about 700. We need ~820+ to reduce the backlog. I didn't include December because I didn't realize that had started, but I think there were only 20 or so.

 

Next week I'll clean this up a little. This week was a bit busy for me. Have a great week!

In one of the K1 FB groups, someone with a non-expedited case with a NOA1 of October 2022 received their NOA2 today... I don't even know how they process cases anymore lol
