Tourist visa to US

Hello, I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post but just wanting honest opinions and tips regarding my concerns.

I am a Filipino citizen with a 10 year green card married to a USC.

I will be applying for my family a tourist visa to US from Manila Philippines for short duration vacation trip. Family consist of 4 younger brothers all in college/high-school and my parents . I will be sponsoring their trip as they do not have that much money. My parents own a house and have a small family business.

My concern are if the chances are low of approval if they apply all together or should I schedule different timing . There are NO intentions to illegally immigrate and I'm trying to figure out best plan to increase chances of approval. I am paranoid that the CO will assume that my family is trying to immigrate all together resulting in a denial. I  am open to any honest opinion and tips regarding this concern of mine especially since I will be applying /paying for  all 6 of them and missing them so much.

Thank you so much for your time and help .

Your paying for them is not helpful.  Seems less expansive for you to travel there.

A couple of things (actually 3).

One, there is no sponsorship for a tourist visa.  You can help them fill in the paperwork, but they must convince the CO that they will leave the US at the end of the trip, on their own merits.

Two, you paying for everything may be a red flag.  The logic being, if you are prepared to support them in the US while visiting, you would be prepared to support them if they decided to stay.

Three, I'm not sure applying separately makes a difference.  Current wait time in Manila for a tourist visa is 100 days so, even if you were to separate them out, that's going to be a while until they all get visas.

I hope it all works out for you and the family!

Thank you so much for your reply!

I understand why it might be considered a red flag. I would just be paying for plane tickets .. Do you think sending money to their bank accounts now will look better for them? considering appointment will take 100 days and the planned reunion  family trip wont be until 2024.

I will be giving birth soon and want my family to visit us here.

I understand now that will be red flag. what is your opinion if i send money to their bank accounts? planned reunion trip will be 2024

They are a poor family. and i just want them to experience just a short time my life over here in the states as well as letting my mom be with her future first grandbaby

Just a clarification, watch the words you choose, and so should your family when they get to their visa interview. You don't "apply for them". They apply on their own merits, and the case will be assessed based on the ties they have to the Phillipines. Within that same line of reasoning, sending money to their bank accounts will certainly not help. If anything, you can keep that money to treat them once/if they are here,

My family will need to apply on their own in Philippines? i was thinking i can help apply them from where I'm at in US by just filling in the online application.

thanks!

Yes, you can help them by filling out their application, but ultimately it's on them to read to make sure their information is accurate, and to sign the form electronically. So you are just helping them apply, but they are responsible for the content of the application and for the ties they show back home.

how about for my 4 younger brothers that are still in school without a job? how do i make a better argument for them for their ties back  home in the philippines? Thank you

School records is a starting point.

But mostly their application will depend on what their parents present as ties.

Job letters, property on their names, active bank accounts, etc.

thank you so much for your reply!

Then  i would have to wait and reassess what can be improved and reapply the ones that are not approved.

Just a thought, do my younger brothers have a better chance at getting approved then my parents also i would be their main source of providing for their trip.

If my younger brothers apply only, do they have a better chance at approval and with me providing for their trip money?

I have doubts with my parents because i just found out they do not have a bank account, just cash..

It is hard to say how much weight a school schedule will sway the CO, but they certainly can try.  I am not sure if a CO considers if a B2 applicant can AOS, but if they do, your brothers may have a better chance.

Thank you for you reply and time !

I know others mentioned that Me paying for the trip will be a red flag, but in this scenario with just my younger brothers who are still in school and no job yet applying, will that still be considered a red flag?  i just want to show proof of support that they will not be a hinderance over here during their trip and they have the funds of returning back home to the Philippines.

Thank you.
