So my wife's IR1 got NVC DQ'd November 18th. I can't find any information anywhere about the wait times at the Bangkok Embassy right now for my wife's Visa type. Anyone have any ideas or where I can find information? Please and thank you.

Should be about 2 months from Dq'ed until Interview. The I130 I did was just completed( entered on November 9th), and interview was scheduled about a month after DQ. Then the interview will be 1 month from notification, so about 2 months total. They are moving pretty fast from what I can tell. I would think late January for the interview as you have the holidays coming up.

Any news regarding your wife's interview appointment? I also just got DQ'd on the 10th of December and waiting on hearing about my interview in Bangkok.

That's around the corner! When were you DQ'd if you don't mind me asking?

Edit: Sorry I thought this was a different thread I was replying to. I already know the answer to my question. Best of luck to you.

@tstcman I'm wishing you luck for the interview tomorrow. Let us know how it goes and how long it takes for her passport to come back. You must be really excited at this point.

Thank you . She passed the interview. They told her it would take 7 days to get her passport back. We will see if that's true. I am , it has been 2 years almost on the dot since I saw her in person.

Congratulations! Keep us updated on when she gets it back. 2 years is a very long time. Hopefully she gets her passport faster than 7 days so she can take the next flight out.

Update: APPROVED!

I had my interview scheduled for 08:30, but the actual interview time was about 30 minutes off. Overall, the service was great and both the Thai lady who checked my documents and the CO were extremely welcoming and friendly. The CO asked me a few basic questions such as how my wife and I met, and where we plan living.

Final update:

I received my passport and Immigrant Fee packet (was not given to me after the interview) on the 18th of February. It took 3 days from the interview to be delivered to where I live in the northern suburbs of Bangkok. Flying to the US next week. Finally getting to board one-way!

Congrats! I'm hoping my wife gets it as quickly as you did. We're going on vacation 10 days after the interview and would like to just head immediately to the US after that vacation as well.
