Hello,

I am brand new here - trying to start my I-129F (!!).  I am seeing conflicting information everywhere and would appreciate guidance!  For the passport photos, do I have to submit 1 or 2 photos for me and my beneficiary?  Also, does my beneficiary have to write a letter proving we've met in the last 2 years, or is that just me (petitioner)?

Thank you!

There is no letter to prove you have met.  That is evidenced by passport stamps, airline boarding passes, lodging receipts, etc.  As @powerpuff stated, you should study the guides.

Thank you, I misquoted that "letter to prove I have met" - it's still early for me :)  I did study the guides A LOT - but i saw examples where people had submitted 2 photos of passports and then said on the guides only 1 was needed.  I just needed verification but it seems the guides are most accurate.  Thank you

Also would be very beneficial to go through the uscis.gov on I-129f page and throughly read their checklist and the PDF instructions.
