Request for RFE

I received a RFE notice from USCIS requesting more information,  I applied September 1 of 2021.  Why would they wait 14 months to request more info.

I mailed my application.  That was probably a mistake.  I wonder if they lost my documents?  I had sent most of the additional info that they requested.  I failed to file I 130A

 

On their page to submit documents you can only submit 5 different items.  The form I 130 A is 7 pages.  So how do I get around that?

1 PDF of multiple pages is one item, imo.

14 months means USCIS officer now has looked at the case and determined what is needed

mailing it is no slower or faster than online 

 

I 130 a is needed

 

FYI  they give u a cut off date for the additional documents so get them in ASAP

 

and yes,   things have been lost before

 

i suggest before u scan (or mail ) each  document now,  you put the case #,  both names and both DOB's in upper right hand corner of each and every page (attorneys do this) so all documents are sure to stay with your case 

the machines that accept documents are not flawless

Is it five different files, or five pages total that you can submit? Because you can submit one file that is 7 pages, but it will still be one file.
