Case Transfer

Hello,

When transferring from one consulate to another is it okay to just supply the residence permit? I do have the police certificate but it won’t be ready for a week. I want to submit transfer with his residence permit first

You contact NVC and make the request.  They'll tell you what they need to make the transfer but the police report is not needed to make the change.  It's needed with everything else to get into the interview queue.  Your residency permit will be all the evidence you need for the transfer.

Please do the Côte d’Ivoire embassy has backlog? I would like to transfer my case there. Is it advisable to do that?

I’m a Nigerian residing in Ivory Coast. I’m about to marry my partner in Nigeria in the coming month. we want to apply for the IR1 visa,so I want to know how long will it take us from the day we receive the NOA1 to the interview day and does the consulate in Ivory Coast have backlog?

I do not have an answer for that. Each case is unique.

No they don’t
