Hello fam,

I hope everyone is doing well, I recently received an RFE, and just wanted to what is the opinion of all the experienced members. Is it doable?

This seems more like an intention to deny notice. This seems very difficult to explain in a statement because how do you explain requesting for 2 separate marriage license in the space of one week with 2 different women? I believe with a great lawyer, great statements from different people and more evidence to support your marriage, you might be able to overcome. But I will like to confirm if this USCIS request is based on a pending VAWA or I 485 because this seems too much and personal for VAWA. I thought we are supposed to be protected during investigation.

Hey Karman, hope you are holding up ok. Hi Everyone, I'm here to say thank you Jesus. I have seen a miracle with my own eyes. Won't go into details but long story short- my EAD expired Sept 20th. I had started my renewal process in February! Countless letters and calls to our friends at the USCIS, even congressman, no response. I was on the brink of insanity as I can not afford to lose my job. The miracle is I didn't lose my job, HR found a clause that enabled me to keep working without a renewed EAD.

Randomly checked my case status today and saw new card being produced for my EAD. Note to TBone- jokes work. They really do!

Congratulations, I know the feeling. This is my current fear. EAD expires in February and a renewal was done end of September, I’m patiently awaiting the notice of receipt to bring down my anxiety 😩😭 Can’t afford to lose job 😩

@God is a good God @asimove @Sandra G.

My 601 RFE is not telling me on what address i need to send my response to. I sent my response to Vermont and check has been processed. Now, i am keep asking my lawyer to send updated/response information to local field office but she is reluctant,

Is it mandatory to send response information to local field office? Will they deny my 601 if i will not let my local field office know? I have only 2 days left to send the response. please reply.

I have to send renewal for my EAD C9. Where shall I send? As my I-485 is still pending and what i have read I should be sending it to Vermont. but recently I received an RFE for DOB certificate for my I-485 and that came in from NBC Summit MO. I never received any notification saying they are moving my file. So where shall I be filing the renewal of my EAD to vermont or Summit?

Second question is how safe it is to return to the USA on advance parole before a week of its expiry.

Thanks

Your AP is good until it is not* -- meaning good until the expiration date.

The only caution is to allow time for delayed flights, local political troubles, or anything precluding your timely return.

You are sending to Vermont. It is safe to travel. I traveled almost 7 times on AP there was no issue whatsoever.

Thank you, I am just skeptical because I have heard that you should travel only if you have at least 90 days on your visa

okay, in my recent enquiry with congressmen, USCIS responded that my file is at NBC (did not mention which one but the response was from Summit MO NBC) and they will ultimately be sending it to field office. I was confused where should I be sending the renewal of EAD or should I be sending to both the locations to be safe :)

Submit to Vermont. I sent letters to both VSC and Lee's Summit. The response I got was from the VSC. To be safe, you can send to both.
