How long is it taking to get an interview for K1 visa interview at the US Embassy London?

We submitted in September 2021 and received our receipt notice September 2021. 

 

Still haven't heard anything, case hasn't moved  - does it tell you when USCIS start looking at it on the website?

 

Either way expecting to hear back by the end of the year, fingers crossed and scheduling the interview in January - how long are the appointments taking currently?

it's super easy getting an appointment! lots of openings. same with scheduling a medical.

@KSVJ is that for the London US embassy?

 

When did you schedule your interview, I can see in your timeline you had a super long waiting time from the embassy receiving your pack until the medical and interview? Was that down to you or them?

yep! US embassy London. that was us. we had to reschedule for later🙂

K1 applicants do not get DQ’d, nor do they submit anything to NVC.

I don’t understand why we haven’t heard anything as of yet.

 

We had an email to say ours was in administrative processing and we’d be notified when it’s forwarded to the embassy. This was last Monday.
