Hi VJ Family,

 

Hope you are all doing well. We have an upcoming interview for IR1 in US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

I have prepared and gathered the following documents for the interview. Kindly let me know if there is anything missing or can be added to the below list.

 

Packet 1:

  1. DS-260 Confirmation
  2. Appointment Letter
  3. 2x2 Passport Size Pictures
  4. Original Passport (Old + New)

 

Packet 2:

  1. Original Birth Certificate
  2. Original Urdu Nikahnama (Attested by MOFA)
  3. Original NADRA Marriage Certificate (Attested by MOFA)
  4. Original Translation of Nikahnama (Attested by MOFA)
  5. Copy of Pakistan Original Card (POC) for USC Spouse 

 

Packet 3:

  1. I-864 Updated Signed
  2. IRS Transcripts (2021, 2020, 2019)
  3. W2 (2021, 2020, 2019)
  4. Employment Letter (Showing current salary and ongoing employment)
  5. Salary Stubs (Last 6 Months)
  6. Bank Statements (Proof of Assets)

 

Packet 4:

  1. Travel History (Visas, Flight Tickets etc.)
  2. Call/Chat Logs
  3. Pictures (Wedding, Vacations, Family)
  4. Insurance Documents (Showing Beneficiary Name)
  5. Bank Letter (Showing Beneficiary Name)
  6. Credit Card Statement (Showing Beneficiary as Authorized User)

 

Looking for the feedback of VJ Family Members, specially the ones who recently dealt with US Embassy Islamabad, Pakistan.

 

Really appreciate any tips or advice.

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Myself:

2016-05-10: N-400 Sent

2016-05-16: N-400 NOA1

2016-05-26: Biometrics

2017-01-30: Interview

2017-03-02: Oath Ceremony

It looks perfect just to add 

medical exam results in packet 1 after your medical examination 

otherwise it’s good 👍🙂

Whoa do we really need all these documents? I thought you didn't need to bring financial stuff only the documents they ask for in the other section of the NVC
