For DS-11 first-time applying passport after naturalization: Is the photocopy of the naturalization certificate also sufficient to satisfy the "photocopy of ID" requirement?  That is to say, I don't need to bring a photocopy of my driver's license, etc?  Thanks!!

If you read the instructions of the passport application it says that you can use your certificate of naturalization as both proof of US citizenship and ID...but there was a fellow visa journey member who was asked for another form of ID. I only provided my certificate and it worked out for me.

Yes.  I would bring two photocopies of the naturalization certificate in addition to the naturalization certificate

Some post office passport acceptance agents are under trained though.

I had to give the USCIS employee my original naturalization certificate to send with the application. She never needed a photocopy of my driver license - she just needed to look at it (the actual drivers license, NOT a copy) to verify my identity before sending off my application.

YMMV then, the USPS employee took the following for mine:

Application

Original certificate

Copy of certificate

Copy of DL front and back (and showed original card during the appointment)
