That was very specific to my case, some extended Military records. Here's what I prepared:

  1. Appointment Letter – Showing the date and time of the interview

  2. Passport – Original + one copy

  3. Birth Certificate – Original + one copy

  4. Marriage Certificate – Original + one copy

  5. Police Certificates – Original only (copy not required)

  6. Passport-Size Photos – Two (I got mine taken at Walmart)

  7. Employment Letter – No wet signature required

  8. I-140 – Original

  9. Social Security Card – Original

  10. U.S. W-2s and Tax Transcripts – Last 3 years

  11. U.S. Bank Statements – Last 3 months

  12. U.S. Lease Agreement

Note: If you're not currently working in the U.S., you can omit the last 3–4 items.

Thank you for the information. My process is EB1-A so I believe that Employment letter is not required as I’m Self-Petitioner… would you mind share the questions from the Interview?

My petition is NIW so I won’t need #7. Currently in Canada so I won’t need the last 4 items.

Here’s what I remember,

  • Where is your employer based?
  • Where do you intend to move in the United States?
  • How long have you been employed with your current employer?
  • What is your current job title?
  • What are your primary job responsibilities?
  • What is the highest degree you have earned?
  • What were your major courses or areas of study under that degree?
  • Which countries have you visited in the past five years?
  • When was your most recent trip to the United States?
  • What was the duration of your longest stay in the United States?
