Hello

I have applied for N600K and this forum has been really helpful. Now that I have applied, I want to get started on visa. 

I understand that I require B visa for my child. In the visa application, it is asked :has anyone applied for immigration petition on your behalf?

yes or no.

N600k is not an immigration petition, right?

You're a USC. You cannot use B-2 to bring your child to US

If the child lives abroad, B-2 is exactly the visa one uses for the child to attend an N-600K interview.

Technically you might be  correct. But I think you can answer yes to the question without negative consequence.

Yes. But the requirement for N600K is that Child lives abroad. If i say yes, will it affect my n600k process? As B visa requirement for n600 k can only be given if child returns bck to residence abroad and is not intending to immigrate.
