Has our approved I-130 Expired?

Hi,

We had an approved I-130 already in early 2021, January, however as we both were focused on school and work, we did not pursue it immediately.

Now we are ready to continue and finish the application, but earlier this year we got a letter from the NVC about possible termination due to inactivity, so at this point, I am unsure whether it is asking us to resubmit everything and re-pay all fees once again, or if we are able to still continue with our existing application.

Letter below was received in FEB 2022, so 1 year from that would be FEB 2023.

Your i130 is active. That notice is about fees regarding visa application process not i130. Just login to ceac as said and start the process. It's a generic statement applicable to even those who already paid for ds260 but need to pay again due to inactivity. You haven't started yet so just can start now.

That is great news, so we can just pay the fees and ignore this? How I understood this document was so that everything would have to be restarted and repaid, but relieved to hear that is not the case.

Resarted and repaid for the ceac process not for the uscis i130. Ceac process is visa processing with NVC not i130 with uscis. You had never started or paid for ceac so you are not gonna restart and repay just start and pay 😁

Logged into CEAC, seems like it is not possible to pay for it anymore..

This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

certainly not ideal situation, so now I am back to assuming that the i-130 has to be resubmitted to get a new case number?

I have received the same letter, they said they informed me to complete the procedures one year and I have not done so, they have not sent me any letter in this regard before, but the issue now is WHERE IS THE INVOICE NUMBER TO PAY THE FEES?

It is on the Welcome Letter you get when your case is transferred to NVC (comes as an email - may have gone in to your junk folder).
