Hi, can anyone guide me in the direction of bringing my mum over. I am a permanent resident and can apply for my citizenship next September. I live in New Jersey and my mum lives in the UK!
 

Do I have to wait until I’m a citizen before I could get her here or are there other options? 
also as soon as I have citizenship can I apply to bring her here or is there a certain amount of time I would have to wait 
thank you 😊

You can petition for her the day you get your naturalization certificate.

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

You have to be a citizen first 

It will probably be 1-2 years after you file before she can actually immigrate, depending on processing times at the service center you are assigned  to and the wait for interviews at her embassy.
