Hello everyone, I am from the Ivory Coast, and my fiancé is an American citizen. We wanted to start K1 but our last meeting was in June 2019, it is mentioned that we need a meeting during the last two years. We want to be together as soon as possible, its been 6 years apart. Is it possible to justify that we couldn't meet because of the covid? I would like to know if it is admissible. Thank you all

You don't qualify for K1. Either meet or face a denial...Can't use COVID as an excuse..

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Nope.  Covid has not precluded anyone from meeting.

The USC petitioner needs to join VJ and begin researching this process.

Also - "as soon as possible" is not a thing for US immigration.  It will take at least two years for you to get here, whichever visa process is used.
