This morning I got an email from USCIS which says “We have take an action on your case”. When I login I don’t see any update to my I-751 or N-400 case status. Anyone ever received similar email? Thank you!

Exact same thing happened twice! Not sure what it was. Maybe about them mailing the physical receipt notice and bio waiver because I received them few days later.

Check under the documents section of your N400.  I got the same notification but didn't see any action taken, but later checked the documents and there was a digital receipt notice and the Bio waiver listed there.

I was expecting to get Bio waiver but nothing is changed and there is only NOA1 in the documents section. However, the expected time to process the case is updated from 13 months to 12 months while the processing time at my local field office (Sacramento CA) is still the same 18.5 months.

To my surprise I got scheduled for Biometrics appointment. I was not expecting to get it because I had my biometrics for I-751 last year. There is definitely a lag in the online system and their backend. I got email in the early hours of 30th June and online system updated status and uploaded biometrics appointment letter almost late noon of July 1st.

Hello everyone!

My husband filed online.  Applied exactly 90 days before his 3 year green card status as he is married to me which I am a US citizen.
N-400: June 29, 2022

NOA1: June 29, 2022

Bio appointment: July 21, 2022

So far the process is moving quick! Within 2 days after filing he received his bio-metrics appointment. Also, the "expected time to process" went from 19 months when he applied to 12 months when he received the bio appointment.

Wishing everyone a speedy process!

My husband just logged into his account and all is good. As you mentioned, they were probably doing a maintenance update when you logged in.

What is your local field office? I also had my biometrics done for I-751 and have an international trip scheduled for early August. Now i am apprehensive to file for N400 before August because they might schedule an appointment very soon. I’m in Central Florida

If you have an upcoming international trip then I would suggest you to hold on your N-400. I too have an upcoming international trip planned for last July and before filing N-400 I didn’t give a second thought on clash of my trip with biometric appointment. Luckily my biometric appointment is before my travel date else I would have to either reschedule my appointment or cancel non-refundable air tickets. For sure it was a close call.
