Responded to RFE online (merged)

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right forum, but back in October 2021 my husband and I applied for his i-485 after the K1 visa. Back in March 2022 we got an RFE for the Affidavit of Support and maybe for the i-485 also, but it didn't come in the mail at first. It ended up being that we were allowed to request it online since it took a while to get to our house, so we responded to the RFE online. Since mid March it has said that Response to RFE has been received, and to my understanding it should be within 3 months of that to get an update? Anyway, I'm starting to get worried seeing as we didn't respond to the evidence through mail since we got the RFE online, and I'm wondering if that was a bad move and we should've waited and mailed it?

Hey, I would contact them, on the USCIS website it states they have 60 days to response to your RFE. I have mine evidence uploaded online as well, it has been only 3 weeks but if I won't receive anything after 2 months, I will call them to check.

I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience. Our case hasn't been updated on the USCIS website since we submitted an RFE. Just RFE response was received since March. Recently we called USCIS and they said our case was in an interview queue since about July 29th. Should the USCIS website update if this is accurate? They also said we should expect to get an interview in the next 2-4 weeks, but people who have also had their case in the "Interview Queue" said theirs stayed there for up to 6 months before. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

In a similar position. When I managed to talk to someone last week, they told me both my I-485 and AP are at my field office and have been under review since August 9th... whatever that means as nothing on my case status!

Hope your news is better than ours! We called them again since our RFE response status still hasn't changed. They said "that's a really long time we'll put in a service request for you" . My husband asked where our case was from what she could see and see said it's still at NVC, so it's not actually in the local field office. Which I assume means it's not in an interview queue and hasnt been this whole time. Best of luck
