Just an update about our beneficiaries. Didn't have time to update it here but here it is:

A young couple traveled from Eastern Ukraine to Warsaw and then to NYC JFK through Milan. They got delayed in Milan for 6 hrs, so that was a bit annoying. They landed in JFK at 8 pm and we're out at 10 pm. The whole immigration process took 2 hrs, basic questions such as where and to whom you are going, married or not married. Overall the whole process from the beginning to the end is pretty smooth. Thanks to everyone for the help on this forum!

Can someone tell me if parolees who come thru U4U are required to present COVID-19 vaccination documentation to travel to the US? either to the airline or to CBP at the airport of arrival? I'm unable to find any information regarding this on USCIS's website?

Our Uniting for Ukraine beneficiaries arrived this past Saturday.  The flight departure and arrival and CBP process went very smoothly.  Lots of good info and tips on this thread helped them to be prepared for each step of the way.  Thank you to all the contributors on this thread.

Just my opinion.. If there are requirements to present COVID-19 vaccination documentation to travel to USA will vary depending on the country and airline your beneficiaries are departing from.   (i.e. how familiar the personnel are with the Uniting For Ukraine program requirements). 

 

Also, CDC has also rescinded the predeparture COVID testing requirements for travel to USA back in June.

Hi UFUAFG,

Adults need at least one vaccination and need to attest to that before travel authorization is issued. To my knowledge they will not need to present documentation of it at anytime during their journey. (My beneficiaries were not asked about it,)

Beneficiaries than have filed for EAD,

 

Did you mail of e-file?

If you mailed, Did you file the I-912 with it?

Have you got your NOA1?

How long did it take after they received the application to issue the NOA1

Did you get the email?

 

Our beneficiaries mailed on 7/25 was delivered to the Chicago address on 7/27 and haven't seen anything yet.

Has anyone reapplied after sponsor approval?  we have received a receipt number, but may expire waiting for passport..

When applying for the employment authorization, I selected status Parole instead of Ukrainian humanitarian parole. Do you think it will delay the process or even get denied?

I applied for my wife's daughter, husband and two grandchildren.  For the daughter and one grandchild I received by a Notice and a Confirmation within 24 hours.  The Confirmation Notices included the A-Number for the daughter and granddaughter.  However, for the husband and the grandson I have only received a Notice but not a Confirmation.  It has been almost two weeks since I submitted the I-134s.  Is this normal?  Should I continue to wait or try to call USCIS?

 

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

We discovered that once the NOA1 is generated for the EAD process the case automatically is connected to our beneficiaries myUSCIS account. I assume this is since we provided the myUsCIS account number on the forms.  It is very nice since the NOA1, Fee Waiver Approval and Biometrics Appointment are available there so timely. Here is a quick timeline:

07/25 - mailed I-765 & I-912

07/27 - received by USCIS

08/04 - NOA1 letter

08/04 - Fee Waiver approval

08/05 - Biometrics appoint letter 

08/22 - Date for Biometrics

You could try a call. Pretty sure you will need to at least get to tier 2 customer service to get someone that can actually look into the case.

I think others in this situation have created new cases and had them process through fine. Your mileage may vary....
