How are you able to update their passport information?   That field remains grayed out for me when I go to do the attestation of biographical information. I also need to fix the passport information.

When you go to the attestation, there should be an option to edit the information at the top (click on edit). Hope that helps.

Yes but for me, passport number is one of the only fields that is still grayed out and cannot be edited!

Is there anyone who can share their beneficiary's experience at the POE?

I've read that beneficiaries can be with CBP for hours... can anyone confirm?

Ours landed at 830 and came through the gate at 1045. They were one of the last people to come through. I was actually getting nervous as it was me and one other group waiting.

You have to create an entirely new application if you messed up the passport number. I went through this and had one of their agents call me back and say they cant edit the number. This is infuriating, but you are not alone.

 That is what I thought. I submitted new paperwork on Tuesday with the correct passport number. It is one of the only things you cannot change.

I bought round trip tickets because it was much less expensive. Also with the eye to possibly rescheduling the return departure date if it makes sense. If not, I'll either cancel for a partial credit or let it expire.

Not yet. My beneficiaries haven't arrived yet. Good to know about the possibility of a fee waiver. Do you know how that is supposed to work?

Take it with a grain of salt -- a sponsor on FB told me that he filed Form I-912 (fee waiver) on behalf of the beneficiary and it was recently approved, but they haven't submitted the actual I-765 yet. Paper forms, not online. Ukrainian parolees apply using code (c)(11) as the basis for their application/fee waiver.

 

That's all I "know" so far! Beneficiaries arrive in about 2 weeks. We'll be submitting ASAP.

Thank you for answers to my previous questions.  I have found this post and replies to be very helpful and informative.

 

Do Ukrainian vaccine records need to be translated and notarized, or can one translate them themselves? Also, once sponsored family is in the US the requirement is to get a medical screening for tuberculosis, including an Interferon-Gamma Release Assays (IGRA) test, within 14 days of arrival.  Will the US accept TB test results from Ukraine or Poland, since it is probably cheaper to do that there?  If not, since sponsored people do not have insurance what has everyone found to be the most cost effective way of doing it in US?
