Was able to schedule my K1 interview for my Ukrainian beneficiary this morning in Frankfurt. Appointments were available as early Wednesday of next week ( May 4th).

If anyone has already completed their interview, how long did it take to issue the visa?  I am trying to attend with her and book my return travel. In Kyiv previously it was issued in 1-2 days.

Great to see you guys already have an interview! I have been following your progress since it looks like you are leading those who received a Ukraine case expedite back in late Feb-early March. Still waiting for my NOA2 after USCIS received my RFE response a couple weeks ago 😕

Just looking around VJ, it looks like it takes 1-3 weeks to get the actual visa after the interview. I don't think anyone else who has gotten a Ukraine visa expedite since the war started is moving as fast as you guys, so everyone else will probably look to see what your issue time will be post-interview :)

Mine just left the NVC yesterday. I wanted to make sure that we had our case number before scheduling the medical examinations what a mistake that was. Everyone in Poland and Germany booked way into late June and into July. I stayed up all night to call every country in the EU and was lucky enough to schedule it for May 16th in Vienna. As of yesterday they had many more May appointments available if anyone is interested.

My fiance is in Spain and appointments in Madrid are available immediately if anyone wants to make the trip out there!

Can you schedule the medical exam and or the interview if you know the NVC case number but your file has not yet arrived in Frankfurt?

Yes, I would recommend scheduling it for 2 weeks out if you can. You can also request NVC to expedite your petition.(NVCExpedite@state.gov)

I am curious how you have handled the police report and medical records?  we are struggling to get either of those with the conditions in Ukraine.  thanks

We were able to get ours on the 23rd of April through the app, It has been working again since that date. The consulate has the ability to waive both the medical records and police report. I think the most important thing they care about at the consulate is the TB test they conduct at the medical exam. I'm also hearing Kyiv embassy will also re-open soon from the news.

Thanks,  i think we are about 2 weeks behind you in our timeline.  Do you need to have specific reasons for the request to expedite at NVC?  Does that expedite the administrative processing time?.  Is it normally an automatic yes to expediting - i guess i am trying to figure out if there is any downside risk to scheduling the medical exam with only having the nvc case number.  sounds like there is not.

I wrote due to the war, and the friend hosting her needs to return to work in another country. They wrote back the next day that they would immediately transfer it to Frankfurt. If you can, do the medical exam in another EU country. Both Frankfurt and Warsaw are 1+ Months out for an appointment for medical exams. Other countries have availability right away. They will accept the exam done in any EU country.

I submitted by DS-260 and AOD to the NVC on April 4th for an CR-1 and CR-2. After seeing posts about the two month delay on medicals in Frankfurt I scheduled two appointments in early July. I plan to keep moving them to later dates until I'm DQ'ed.

When I submitted the docs I said the police certificate was unavailable and that we would get it if/when she returned to Ukraine. She is back in Vinnytsia but she has not gotten that link to work for her so no police certificate yet.
