Hi has anyone recently made this trip? I am planning a trip to Kiev in a couple of weeks (trying to be there for Woman's Day)? Would like to know issues that i should prepare for. My plan is to fly to Warsaw and then train to Kiev. thanks

Yes, on the news about work authorization. Do not need to file a I-765, use your I-94 which shows code on it. can still apply for I-765 without a fee.

Hi, does anyone have very recent experience in traveling to Ukraine? Is there anything different than traveling there pre-war. I assume you fly to Poland and take a train to Kyiv. Is there a better way? Also, are there any special documents or .... needed to cross the border into Ukraine. thanks

Fiance is currently in Bucharest. I had submitted a request to have this application switched from Frankfurt to Bucharest. Yesterday that request was granted - so I now have a NVC case starting with BCH. I have not received a letter from NVC saying that it has been sent to the embassy yet.

Hi I think I read on here someplace that I can schedule the medical exam as soon as I have the case # from NVC? When in the process do I file the DS-160 and pay the MRV fee - before or after the medical exam? I have not received an email or mail from NVC with instructions. thanks

Not sure what these emails mean. I requested a transfer of my k-1 case from Frankfurt to Bucharest. yes, i know that I or she must reside in Romania for this to happen but I applied anyway. Thanks, i think we are about 2 weeks behind you in our timeline. Do you need to have specific reasons for the request to expedite at NVC? Does that expedite the administrative processing time?. Is it normally an automatic yes to expediting - i guess i am trying to figure out if there is any downside risk to scheduling the medical exam with only having the nvc case number. sounds like there is not.

I am curious how you have handled the police report and medical records? we are struggling to get either of those with the conditions in Ukraine. thanks

Can you schedule the medical exam and or the interview if you know the NVC case number but your file has not yet arrived in Frankfurt?

Have the NVC case number, NVC says my file just got into administrative processing a couple of days ago. With a nvc case number (FRN) can I contact the Frankfurt embassy and move the process along (schedule the interview) or do I have to wait for the file to get to Frankfurt? thanks
