Hi guys I submitted on March 27th. I put in my tax return (form 1040) and w2 for 2021 2020 and 2019 do you think I would get rfe for not uploading the tax transcript?

Hello! I did my 1040 because I didn’t have my tax transcripts and because my ceac portal said I could upload either. I just made sure I had all of my W2 and 1099. All of my financial docs were accepted

Why not?  They're easy to get online.  Just make yourself an IRS.gov account and download.

I already have an irs account but now they want me to use id.me which is not working and when I uploaded the documents I didn’t have my 2021 transcript so I uploaded the tax return

Omg thank you for letting me know! I called irs and requested my 2021 transcript. I didn’t want to add it in later because we might have to wait 3 months again. But from what I’m seeing I can upload it under additional documents

I had to do like a zoom call with an ID.me rep to set it up because it wasn't initially working for me either.  But, it's worth it.  It's nice to have for the future too.

My prediction is NVC will be reviewing 16-21 March during next week… was hoping they’d clear March by then, though!

Just heard May 30 is Memorial Day? So thinking NVC won't review any cases... ???

Hi guys, I just wanted your opinion on something as I can't find many answers online.

We added a joint sponsor to our case however, we think that only a small portion of their affidavit was sent.  However, the full affidavit was sent along with the tax income file and now we're not sure what to do. Should we resend the full affidavit onto the additional documents and add a note explaining why we've added it there? Our last submission date was 22nd March and we think they may get to our case within the next 2 weeks.

To be on the safer end, I would suggest submitting the full affidavit along with the explanation note in the 'additional document' tab.

Thank you. This is what I've done. Do you know if this will put me at the back of the queue?

Adding documents to the "additional document" tab seems like it doesn't reset the clock if you do it before they get a chance to look at your file - so short answer: no 😊 (for the cases I've seen at least, just saw someone on Facebook who added a document there on may 24th and just got DQ'ed)
