My naturalization interview was held 2 years after a divorce, and 32 years after a marriage based green card was issued.

 

The IO said : “I want to see evidence it was a real marriage”

 

The birth certificates of the children my ex-wife and I had together were sufficient.  YMMV

Iam not divorced and we not going to the only problem i checked seperated instead of married because of my job we live in two separate homes
