Am I the only one here who can't see what exactly HA has done so very wrong? In this (and the other) thread, I mean - I know she's had her fair share of disagreements with people, but... she posted something that led to a thread going off topic, is that's what's led to all this? Threads going off topic happens all the time... and I read what she posted as a fairly unremarkable aside about how paying all the fees only for the beneficiary in question to turn around and say 'actually I'm not coming after all', um, sucks. And that's resulted in some great slanging match...

No not at all. Its the way she is towards ppl. She has no respect for anyone, but expects everyone to respect her with the upmost. She also seems to have a prob taking her anger on every single possible member on VJ for her failed marriage. Ppl are here bc they are in happy relationships, they dont want to be attacked by someone who is bitter over a divorse.

I seriously don't understand why this topic was split and why people continue on with this thread. it's doing nothing to encourage people or help them with their questions relating to immigrating to the US. It really has nothing to do with OT either.

There is very much a pattern. Husband sucks, MIL sucks, UK sucks, VJers suck.

Now she's laughing that any VJer may end up divorced. Consider yourself in that as well.

I split this thread, seeing that the original thread was staying active but this particular part of it had - thankfully - died. I didn't want anyone seeing the discussion in the active thread and bringing it back to life. I was hoping that by spliting the thread this part of it would fade into the sunset. But I see that at least one person dragged it back to life and more than a few weren't hesitant to carry on.

It appears that the Captain's temporary closure has expired, I'm closing the thread again. It had no value from the very first post and has gone downhill from there.
