EAD renewal time processing

Hello! 

 

I am in AOS from a K1 visa. I got my EAD combo card in February and applied for renewal. I'd like to know if anyone renewed recently and how long it took to get the new card? Knowing I don't need to go through the biometrics appointment again. Thank you!

Not recently but still during Covid high- times it took 3 weeks for mine.

3 weeks to get your new EAD card?? I thought it took months.

Last year I renewed my EAD in May 2020 and got it in 3 months. This year people reported is more than double the time

coming back to update.. I submitted my renewal mid-December and just received my EAD this past week: March 10th. Plot twist though… only the EAD was accepted but not the advanced parole. I read from the national law review that USCIS had stopped giving away the combo card starting March 1st to be able to catch up on EAD applications because they’re so behind. Just a heads up because I was very surprised to see only one of the two applications were approved.. good thing is the EAD is valid for 2 years instead of 1 with the advanced parole.

yeah uscis even posted the news about decoupling that combo card early march 2022. does ur service center = NBC ? or somewhere else

I did not see it on the uscis website, where did you find it ? 
yes mine is NBC. What about you?

mine is NBC but my PD was 2/7/22
