If any of the three of us get it waived, it will definitely be an interesting case. That’s why I think we need to keep us updated!

I'm all in I'll be the first to yell and scream should we get the wavier lol

I wonder what the processing time will be for us that had our AOS interview waived, if it would even make a difference. I think most of us that did, have heavily loaded our ROC packet in hopes that it can happen again.

I think there's 4 couples now. I'll be curious to see if there's a lot more.

Yes there are several couples who got the AOS interview wavier.  Most got it at the start of covid in 2020. They only gave them out for a couple of months though.

I gladly sent them a 6 lbs package to that effect.

I wonder if they annotate somewhere in the file that the interview for a case was waived. I'm asking because my interview would have been at the Pittsburgh FO, and we have since moved to Columbus, OH. Wonder if they would have the record that my interview has been waived!

Yeah, I'd assume things like waived interviews and stuff would be noted in (what I assume would be) the master case files attached to our alien numbers and so I'd guess they get shuffled around if people move to different local office jurisdictions. Still being hopeful, anyway. It'll be very interesting if people start getting waived twice.

We'll find  out soon enough as between January and February filers we have several couples who got waviers for AOS interview.

Wee bit quiet in the Feb2022 thread...

I'm targeting this coming weekend (yep, Valentine weekend) to get my stuff out in the mail. Feels a bit weirdly appropriate? 🥰

Is anyone else filing this month?

Hi everyone! I mailed my packet on 1/23 and it was received on 2/4. It took forever because ups had lost it and i thought it was never delivered but yesterday night they processed the CC payment so when i called USCIS, the agent said my file was actually received on 2/4.

But still no text or email, is that normal?

Yeah, that's normal I think. I would not worry about it for 15 days at least.
