  • 4 weeks later...

Checked my USCIS account today to see if there were any updates.. They waived the biometrics yesterday (7/14) and updated my case to say fingerprints were taken.

Any other Feb filers had progress with their case?

Last update I had was around March, when they waived my biometrics… radio silence since then

Guys! Please help. FEB 2022  Filer here, got a new notification today via email & online status that a notice was returned to USCIS.

I have updated to a new address due to moving on July 1st, 20 days ago with AR 011 form and applied for mail forwarding with usps, I do know USCIS mails are not forward-able. My guess is, unfortunately they mailed me something to my old address right around my move time and it was returned to USCIS because it can’t be forwarded.

I did Ask Emma livechat and called today, they can’t tell me what that notice is and only suggested me to request a new one. I have yet requested a non-delivery and hopefully get it this time. Could it be an interview? Green card? RFE? Guys please help, don’t those type of notices show as what they are online? I have heard that sometimes they mail another extension letter soon after. Could it be that?

We can guess at what it is, but there's no way to know for sure until you receive it. My first thought was RFE.

The only time I have heard of people receiving another extension letter were for those that received 18 month extensions, and later received a 24 month extension. That would not apply to you.

Thanks! After a coupon hours research online, if it was a RFE, it will show online as RFE. My guess is biometric letter at this point since I have never received a physical copy of it,

Probably RFE. Call USCIS again, demand to talk to a tier 2 officer

LIN Nebraska service center. I searched online, it seems like if it was a RFE, it should look like this online (see attached photo). I did not get a status like this on my account. My last online update was fingerprints updated (reuse).
