Actually was approved 3/29/2023 and now waiting on NVC o receive (did slip that into one of my updates, but also didn't want to make a big splash about it)
Letter to Senator was a Dud -  Got back a "we need you to send of even more forms before we can consider taking any action" (yuck)

Did a Case Inquiry to NVC today ...

Just lots of waiting overall

My update script is running and will be posting Monday's report soon

I thought maybe I saw that but I couldn’t remember. Congrats!

I also got RFE on 03/24 and still haven't received it in the mail.

They sent me RFE on last Wednesday and still haven't received it in mail! They should have uploaded it online as well... Just so much waiting in each steps 🤯

for both of you.

My RFE actually happened on a Monday night (late) and was dated for Tuesday...  I live 2 cities over and it took till Friday's mail to receive.

I was at the mailbox on Friday and it went back into the mail the same day.  Took until end of day the next Tuesday for them to receive.

Then ... over 2 weeks of silence ... and approved.

Once approved (end of March), silence again while waiting for NVC to "create a case"

Expect there will be more ... but even 2 cities away, it isnt fast.

Good Day... I'm sorta in the same category.. Received RFE 3/28/23. They request a few documents, in which i will have tomorrow, and returning all the information back to USCIS, on an over night express mail.

So know after that, it could be a week or 2 for approval.

Hoping it stays to a week or 2 for you ....
In my scans of RFE, the answers got very depressing ... no order to which were approved in days or took months to approve.
It was so depressing in fact that I (outright) deleted the script to process that ....

Send a Ask NVC every week until you get a number. You actually need 2 numbers one starts with the 3 letters for embassy abbreviation followed by 10 numbers. It takes about 5 to 6 days to get a reply from Ask NVC. The other one 8 numbers it is called the invoice I. D number. I sent about 5 or 6 inquires before the numbers were both sent. I got 1 number on 3/28 and the other number on 4/3/23. They are so confused.

Wednesday normal report - Tracking changes since Monday.
As @Ngillet reported ... a rather brutal few days for cases updates.

Hopefully we will see more activity in the coming days.

I know it is still a long ways off and may move again - Closer or further who is to say.
But as May approached, pay very close attention to the case inquiry date.
Currently, May 27, 2023 for case filed on 1 Dec 2021

I think this should be some maintenance issue or something similar bcs any months are getting updates... but they should be working and spending approvals, RFE by mail

I am so sick of this process and looking forward to it being complete .... someday.
Yet another source of "unspecified" and yet unsurprising delay.
They did not answer the general question about what I-129F NOA2 dates they are processing ….
so I guess I will have to ask them again.

Based on the NVC's own "NVC Timeframes" page:

Current case creation time frame: As of 10-Apr-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 31-Mar-23.

The Keyword here is "Received" (apparently).
My case was approved 29 Mar 2023,
Sent AskNVC on 12 Apr and got this reply from them that as of today.
The case had not even been
"Received" from USCIS and so therefore they have not started processing it.
Further (as highlighted in yellow), they are "expecting" cases to take longer to be
"Received" then the normal blanket 30 day statement.
Not to worry though - If it takes a long time, the embassy
"May revalidate" extend the K-1 expiration date.

I feel your pain… The wait seems never to end…
Mine was approved on March 7th and as of April 12th NVC hadn’t received my case yet. The waiting time is much longer than 30 days.
I think after this whole process we are going to be the most patient people in the world!
