No K3

you will file the I 130 for the spouse visa

and nothing is fast with immigration

the wait time will be 18 to 24 months just to get to the interview

Read the guides above to know the process and how to file

Also check the word portal and read embassy reviews and posts from other VJ members in your embassy

I agree, get the I130 filed.  Some folks seem to think filing the I129 for the K3 speeds things up, so if you like paperwork, you can submit that as well, but K3's are very rarely ever issued now.

Good Luck!

CR1 and IR1 are the currently viable immigrant visas for spouse of US Citizen.  You can follow your I-130 filing by filing the I-129f for spouse if you want.  It's a tactic, that MIGHT work to speed up theI-130 approval but it will not slow it down. (IR1 visas are for marriages past the two year mark.  Your spouse will be issued the correct visa when the time comes, but the process is the same.)

K3 has been virtually dead as an actual visa being issued, for more than a decade, for longer that it was an actual viable option.
