I scanned most of September and counted about 84 approvals with today's and tomorrow's dates with most activity focused on mid September. One thing I don't understand though is why some cases are marked approved with tomorrow's date. I've seen this on other days too. Does anyone know why?

They started touching September cases at roughly 1,000 untouched cases of August filers.

Fair to say that after roughly the next 10 business days, we will see October cases being processed. On the flip side, October has 1,000 cases more than September, so it will take them 40 business days (due to the holidays probably rather 50) to get down to 1,000 cases for October.

All in all, I expect processing time to be 16 months by end of December/beginning of January.

It's a holiday, they are likely closed.

Today is absolutely not a holiday. Theres a chance they are closed today, which is what I was asking. I had the day off too, but it isn't a holiday. I got nothing for August and September though. And it looks like May and June also came up with nothing.

Hoping for a good week next week!

A de facto holiday. When all the bosses of any meaning are off, and anything that underlings submit just sits on the desks until the next real day. We'd likely see a small bump on Monday compared to others when those bosses do come back.

My workplace was open too today, but with skeleton crew, no seniors.

I have a hopeful positive tinkling now that Biden had said that the Covid is over, Federal agencies would tighten up their leave policies in tune to what the private sector had done months ago. FYE 2022 Q1 was the worst in years for USCIS (Omicron being the excuse) - I imagine FYE 2023 (October 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022) may turn out to be much better.
