What type of requirements are needed to travel to Manila for the Interview?

Depending on the quarantine classification. St Lukes is not open under ECQ and only possibly under MECQ.  If you completed your medical, then all you really need is the appointment letter. An appointment at the embassy is essential travel I am told.

It also might make a HUGE difference where you are traveling from.

She’s from Cagayan de oro. So, she was anxious if she needed a vaccine for travel or be quarantine in a hotel? Or maybe a swab test?

Do the antigen test a lot cheaper quicker results. my honest opinion better results to many false positives with swab test, we just through a false positive one day and took antigen the next no antibodies showed

Plus her LGU if there may or may not be additional requirements for her to get from her home to the airport.

My wife was having her swab test two weeks ago and she was false positive. The LGU isolated her at the isolation unit and she don’t even have any symptoms! I was furios and wanted her to reswab but she insisted not to ‘cause she needed the certificate. It might gonna help for travel. Would that help??
I don’t know she’s gonna take antigen, she’s already exposed at the isolation unit.

She needs a negative result to get good certificate a positive is not what she wants, if you have antibodies that means you have had the bug. She will be isolated for 7 to 10 days now or until they say it is ok to be let go.

I think it is just a money making scam and to control people. LGU did not even do anything to my wife did not isolate her or come get her from her room, we paid for a antigen test the next day which was negative to board and fly out.

My friend was contact traced from getting a rabid vaccine from a nurse when one of the nurses got Covid.  She was taken to Covid Isolation place like a jail and had to spend 30 days there.  She was there about 7 days before results came back positive, and then like 2 weeks later she tested again and was negative and then they made her stay another 7 days after her negative test.   This was 2 months ago in Bantangas.

Although CDO is far from Manila and I am not sure if there are even van routes between the two places, but if there is, you may want to check with them on the latest requirements for Manila.  When we were moving across regions and provinces in the Dec-Feb 2021 timeframe, there were constantly changing requirements.  However the van companies always had the latest and most reliable information.  Without them, we would have struggled to understand what was going on.  The link for PAL is also good as in general PAL has been relatively well organized during this debacle.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."
