It’s confusing reading different posts:

1. For Russian to travel to Poland, they should be vaccinated using American shots like Pfizer or j&j and Moderna? Russia shots not acknowledged?

2. When we do the DL 160 form, we do immigrants or non-immigrants?

Thanks for asking these questions, they’ll be helpful now that some information, I’ve discovered, is slightly out-of-date.

1. It appears as if Poland has lifted most of their COVID restrictions as of early April. I know that mid-March they were still requiring PLFs and whatnot, but apparently this is no longer so. I still highly recommend that anyone flying use KLM’s “TravelDocs” checker, it has up-to-date information about COVID restrictions that’s saved my rear many times.

2. The DS-160 is a non-immigrant form. When filing it out it’ll ask you what visa you’re applying for (K1) and will update with the corresponding questions.

Hello all, if you have an existing registration at ustraveldocs for Moscow, how do you transfer it to Warsaw? I sent an inquiry through the site but so far no response.

Here is what I found on https://forum.govorimpro.us/t/интервью-по-воссоединению-в-варшаве-2021-год-и-позже/229722/470

My case took 13 months at USCIS and currently being reviewed at NVC. I anticipate it is going to be sent to Warsaw, Poland.

My fiancee is residing in Moscow and I don't know if she can get to Poland since visas are no longer offered to Russians.

After 13 months wait I am at the end of my rope, so to speak. Any suggestions?

What countries offer consulate services to ones who don't speak english?

I have been trying to find out timelines as well, but no luck.

So after you file DS 260 with NVC and when your DS260 gets DQed (documentarily qualified) by NVC you need to wait for an  interview date. My parents DS260s were DQed recently and it did not take too long (couple of months). But now the wait game is on, How fast the interview scheduling will take, i do not know. I looked and called, but it does not sound to me like there is a specific timeframe, everything is super random, some people get interview within a month, others in a year. The forum that Afine52 gave you is a great resource though.

As far as visas - you need to get shengen for a different country (Hungary, Greece, Italy) and then fly to Poland. I am in the same boat with my parents (from Vladivostok). From what I have researched, Warsaw is still your best bet. I would not change it because it might take you longer to do the change. This is just observation from what I read.

Good luck!

I've been told by a lawyer that it's possible for Russians to get a National Visa. It's similar to a Schengen Visa, but it's strictly for visiting Poland. If the purpose of the visit is to visit the Embassy, which it is, then Poland will approve this type of visa.

We requested a transfer of the case on 10/21/21, received an email response on 10/25 that the case was transferred and to check our online CEAC account for updates. The account was not updated, so we followed up on 11/27/21. Received the same email response that the case was transferred and to check online. And then within a few days, the online account was updated with the WRW number. We received an interview notice on 1/28/2022 for 2/28. Our case is family based immigration though.

HI @alesianka I'm new here and my case is also a family based too. we got our case number from NVC but it shows it's currently in moscow. We paid for everything and submitted all the necessary forms. But i have a few questions for you:

1. Pls how did you request for transfer of case to Warsaw?

2. And will I have to reload all the forms again once it's transferred or they'll automatically be updated.

I hope you can help me with some answers to these questions. Thanks in advance

We emailed the US embassy in Warsaw. We used 2 different email addresses in one email because we didn’t know which one was right.
ImmigrantVisasWarsaw@state.gov

support-poland@ustraveldocs.com
We requested to transfer the case (“please transfer the case to Warsaw. Here is the MOS#, here is the priority date, here is the doc approved date. Name and DOB of the applicant”

Once they update the case, you will see a new number. You don’t need to reupload anything. You just need to make sure that all your documents are up to date. We had to refresh court/police records because they need to be refreshed so often (can’t remember if it was every 2 years)
